About SCAD Hong Kong

Hong Kong gleams in the South China Sea, the heart of a creative revival in Asia Pacific. Students come from all over the world to study in this global location, where SCAD Hong Kong offers the region's largest concentration of art and design degree programs, including courses in advertising and branding, animation, fashion, fashion marketing and management, graphic design, illustration, interactive design and game development, user experience (UX) design, interior design, luxury and fashion management, motion media design, painting, photography, sequential art, and visual effects.

Rigorous career preparation takes place in the historic UNESCO-award-winning former North Kowloon Magistracy Building, a grand courthouse rehabilitated by SCAD in 2009 and now home to SCAD Hong Kong. This SCAD location is already a thriving member of the city's academic community, having received approval from the Hong Kong Education Bureau for registration of its 22 programs of study.

SCAD Hong Kong students regularly collaborate with top global brands like Yves Saint Laurent, Audemars Piguet, and Makedo and participate in the city's many cultural events, including the Hong Kong Film Festival and the Hong Kong International Art Fair. Students may opt to study at SCAD Hong Kong for the entirety of their degree programs or only a few quarters to assimilate and appreciate life and learning in Asia's World City.
